Indonezji, w prowincji Maluku, po po\u0142udniowej stronie Morza Banda.<\/p>\n<p>Damar liczy oko\u0142o 20 km d\u0142ugo\u015bci i 18 km szeroko\u015bci. Le\u017cy oko\u0142o 125 km na wsch\u00f3d od Romang i 200 km na wsch\u00f3d od Wetar. P\u00f3\u0142nocna cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 wyspy zosta\u0142a w du\u017cej mierze przygotowana pod upraw\u0119 kokos\u00f3w, orzech\u00f3w nerkowca, ziaren kawy, kakao, go\u017adzik\u00f3w i ga\u0142ki muszkato\u0142owej, natomiast po\u0142udniowa cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 jest nadal zalesiona. Wyspa jest zamieszka\u0142a g\u0142\u00f3wnie na p\u00f3\u0142nocy i wschodzie; wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 wyspiarzy to rolnicy lub rybacy.
